Product stewardship in the manufacture of agricultural adjuvants
CPDA Adjuvant Certification Program
The Council of Producers and Distributors of Agrotechnology (CPDA) has been the voice and advocate for the adjuvant, inert and post-patent crop protection industry for over 35 years.
The CPDA Adjuvant Certification Program is designed to assure applicators and growers that products comply with a uniform set of standards, meet the functionality claims on the label and that product ingredients meet EPA regulations for use in pesticide tank mixes. As part of the approval process, adjuvant manufacturers provide confidential formulation details to an expert, industry-led committee for review. This certification ensures an adjuvant’s formulation is of high quality, reliability and compliance with industry standards.
Application Enhancement Certification Program
Understanding how adjuvants, nozzles and pesticide formulation type work together to impact spray quality, and ultimately coverage is an objective of the CPDA Application Enhancement Certification Program.
Precision Laboratories, along with other CPDA members, have been instrumental in developing this program to give growers and applicators better insight into spray quality and how to maximize the performance of spray applications by better matching nozzle types with crop protection formulations and adjuvants.
