APE / NPE Free

Promote more environmentally safe and sustainable agricultural practices

APE/NPE-Free Sustainable Adjuvants and How They Work

APE/NPE-free adjuvants replace traditional adjuvants containing alkylphenol ethoxylates (APEs) and nonylphenol ethoxylates (NPEs) with formulations that promote more environmentally safe and sustainable agricultural practices. APE/NPE-free formulations lead to increased crop safety and less toxic runoff while also enhancing performance.

We’ve developed both nonionic surfactants and high surfactant oil concentrates that are APE/NPE-free to fit a wide range of formulation types and complex tank mixtures. These formulations also increase performance with added drift control and greater penetration.

Why you should consider APE/NPE-free, sustainable adjuvants

Surfactants containing APEs and NPEs are known to cause crop injury and have negative effects on the environment. Newer, APE/NPE-free formulations increase application flexibility with more sustainably sourced materials.

Crop Safety

APE/NPE-free adjuvants can be added to fungicide tank mixes to limit crop injury, without the risk of arrested ear syndrome with pre-tassel applications

Environmentally Friendly

spraying adjuvants that are free from APEs and NPEs promotes more environmentally responsible and sustainable farming practices

Increased Performance

our APE/NPE-free adjuvants contain a deposition aid that reduces off target movement, creates workhorse droplets and gets more product to the target, thereby increasing pesticide performance

Leading APE/NPE-Free Adjuvants

The efficacy of APE/NPE-free adjuvants is an important consideration for growers in crop protection spray applications. Our high-performance APE/NPE-free products create right sized droplets for increased canopy penetration, minimized off-target movement, and better herbicide uptake.
