Spreaders, Stickers & Adsorption Aids
Enhance droplet adhesion, improve coverage and maximize adsorption
How Spreaders, Stickers & Adsorption Aids Work
Spreaders, Stickers & Adsorption Aids typically work by improving droplet adhesion and are intended to minimize loss to water, wind or mechanical activity. This can be achieved through the use of an organosilicone surfactant that enables rapid drying and film formation, or through other tacky, resinous compounds to help droplets adhere to the target.
Organosilicone surfactants have a unique molecular structure that makes them extremely effective at rapid surface tension reduction. They’re the preferred tool when rainfast applications are critical because they maximize spreading and dry down with low use rates and low spray volumes. Organosilicones are often sold as a blend with non-ionic surfactant to increase product utility.
Adsorption aids are particularly useful when applied to low organic matter soils with residual herbicides.
