Deposition Aids
Reduce spray drift and penetrate the crop canopy
How Deposition Aid Drift Reduction Agents Work
Deposition aids improve droplet penetration through the crop canopy while reducing fine particles and improving spray drift control. This product category is typically formulated with an oil or other emulsifier to improve spray quality.
Spray quality refers to the droplet size distribution produced by a particular nozzle and spray solution combination at a specific pressure. Adjuvants that affect spray quality work by reducing the formation of both small and large size droplets, and results in more ‘workhorse’ size droplets that maximize deposition and pesticide performance.
These oil-based emulsions enhance pesticide sprays by creating right sized droplets that minimize off-target movement, for increased penetration and coverage.
